Explore 3 centuries of history through this new program offered in the Pleasant Valley Rural Historic District from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
The district, which includes 13 properties, is listed on the National and State Register of Historic Places. Featured in the tours are the 1890-1935 Pleasant Valley School (shown above), five 18th century farmsteads, a family burying ground, a millstream with archaeologic sites, a former blacksmith home and shop site, and many elements of the historic landscape including fields, fences and hedgerows, unpaved roads and hill farms.
